2nd Place

fullsetballetnails.jpg

This was my first 'sit in' competition I'd done before. I decided to do a ballet theme, concentrating on The Nutcracker and Swan Lake.

These nails were done with liquid and powder, handpainted nail art, and adhered objects (netting, lace, rhinesones).

I had a se time of 2 and a half hours to complete the nails in, and I fiishhed with about 2 minutes to spare!

More photos to come soon!!

9th Place

The theme for the photographic catergory was Halloween. I decided to create nails for a witch. These nails were done with liquid and powder over tips. I handpainted cobwebs and added rhinestones. The multicoloured nail is representing magic shooting off the nail tip, I created this too with liquid and powder, and added wires springing out from underneath.

he theme for this competition was to design nails for a celebrity (list of celebs were given to us). I decided to do Marilyn Monroe and painted the Andy Warhol screenprints onto the nails, with the 4th nail painted with with rhinestones, pearls and ribbons over it. These nails were handpainted, using acrylic paints.
